به همین منظور همگام با توسعه و گسترش فضای مجازی، پایگاه خبری «دانستنی آنلاین» به وزارت فرهنگ و ارشاد اسلامی معرفی شد و معاونت مطبوعاتی وزارت ارشاد با صدور مجوز، فعالیت رسانه‌ای این پایگاه را به رسمیت شناخت و در زمستان سال ۱۳۹۵ پروانه فعالیت رسانه‌ای و انتشار این سایت را با شماره ۷۸۸۳۹ و به نام سیدرضا جمشیدی، صاحب امتیاز پایگاه خبری «دانستنی آنلاین» صادر نمود .
همچنین این پایگاه خبری دارای لوگو طلایی و نشان ملی ثبت (رسانه های دیجیتال) از مرکز فناوری اطلاعات و رسانه های دیجیتال با کد شامد: ۱-۱-۷۰۰۲۰۰-۶۵-۴-۳ می باشد.
«پایگاه خبری دانستنی آنلاین» با نام انگلیس danestanyonline و تحت دامنه www.danestanyonline.ir فعالیت می‌نماید. ضمنا دامنه‌های www.danestany.com و www.danestany.ir نیز مطعلق به این مجموعه هستند. بدیهی است استفاده از هر نام مشابه، سوء استفاده از نشان ثبتی «دانستنی آنلاین» غیر قانونی است و پیگرد قانونی دارد.
